Making Art Accessible for Everyone

  • Twisted Roots is an all-inclusive private studio located at 1264 W 15th St, San Pedro, CA 90731. We offer a wide range of enrichment classes including art, cooking, drop off camp, music & fitness. We serve children, teens & adults and have classes specifically for those with disabilities.

  • At Twisted Roots we believe the arts make life better! It is our mission to make art & enrichment programs easily accessible to students of any age & for those with disabilities.

  • We are a vendor with self-determination and are accepting new clients.

  • We offer a wide range of programs including:

    • Art Class

    • Day Camp

    • Cooking Lessons

    • Music Lessons

    • Gardening Club

  • We accept all major credit cards, venmo & zelle.

    We accept new students through self-determination program and self-pay.

  • We do not offer refunds on our classes. We do offer a class credit if notification is made no less than 48 hours before. Class credit must be used within 60 days.

  • Photos and videos may be taken during classes and events. By entering the property, you are consenting to any photography or videos taken and used.

What We Offer

  • art camp for adults with disabilities

    Drop off Camp

    We offer a drop off program for those with developmental disabilities. Students enjoy a fun & safe environment where they can practice social skills & community integration through art, gardening, cooking, nature walks and community engagement. This camp runs every Monday & Tuesday from 10am - 3pm and every Thursday 9am - 2pm.

  • Public Cooking classes

    Cooking Classes

    Our cooking classes teach valuable skills like independence & creativity, while fostering healthy eating habits and boosting confidence. We have classes designed for kids & for those with developmental disabilities. We offer a group cooking class every Thursday from 9am - 12pm in Palos Verdes and a virtual cooking class every Wednesday from 4- 5pm via zoom.
